GSPORT EQUIPE UP THE LEADERS OF THE VUELTA A ANDALUCIA 2020
The 19th of February the sixty-sixth Lap around Andalusia (Vuelta Andalucia), more known as " Ruta del Sol”, took place. This year we will have a thrilling challenge for the GSport team, this is due to the fact that we will take participation in the cycling stages around the east of Spain in one of the best ways, dressing up the best racers from the international cycling group!
Gsport will be the brand in charge of dressing up the leaders of the different classifications of the Lap around Andalusia. Our objective, in this passionate project is not only to dress up the racers with high quality and comfortable equipment, it’s to create equipment that can relate and reflect the identity of Andalusia, the identity of this grand tour.
Inspiration in Nasrid art
For the design of the maillot we’ve been inspired by the Nasrid engraving, a typical southern architectural style that now days we can see in many emblematic buildings around Andalusia like the Alhambra.
This type of engraving is characteristic because of its geometry composed by lines that connect creating starts, it has been a key point for our inspiration to design the maillots that the racers will be wearing in the Lap around Andalusia, a side from our special tribute to the Granadian art.
The equipment that we’ve prepared for this event were all made in our factories located in Valencia, using the best technologies. Making sure to give the comfort that it’s needed to everyone that uses the maillot throughout the race.
As lovers of cycling, it’s a privilege to be a part of the “Ruta del Sol” and see how the best racers in the world show off the brand GSport. We are excited and ready to enjoy some days of pure cycling around Andalusia!
